The last Time Auction was the Vancouver Time Auction, which was held on July 9th, 2009 at UBC.

The Vancouver Time Auction was able to raise 6,350 volunteer hours using roughly $7,500 in donated products and services from local businesses.

Here's an example of how your wonderful evening at a Time Auction might play out. First, you arrive at 6:00p.m. and begin looking at all the wonderful partner charities that have set up booths. You also take a look at all the donated items that you could potentially bid on and win. You walk up to our friendly registration desk and we take down your name and contact information, and then we give you an auction sign with a number on it. We also give you catelogue of all the items up for bid. Then you are ready to auction!

When the auctioneer starts asking for bids for the item you want, just put up your number in the air. If you win the bid, jump up and say "Yes!" After the auction, you will contact your charity to start volunteering. Once you finish the hours you bid, you contact us, we'll verify that you did your hours, then we'll give you the item that you won!
